Does Sokrateque use my files or prompts to train its AI?

No. Your files, prompts, and responses are never used to train AI models — by Sokrateque or by the underlying model providers. Your work is processed in isolation and stays yours

What happens to my data when a session ends?

With Clean Exit, your session data is wiped from third-party AI processors the moment your query ends. Your work is saved only in your private Sokrateque Cloud, so you can return to previous sessions without leaving sensitive material on external systems.

How can I verify that a claim in a Sokrateque answer is accurate?

Every answer comes with evidence cards showing the exact supporting quote and its source. Click any quote to open it in context — Sokrateque highlights the passage inside the original document so you can inspect the surrounding argument and go directly to the source. Every answer also includes a full reference list with relevance notes.

Which AI models does Sokrateque use?

Sokrateque uses OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic models.

What sources can Sokrateque search?

Sokrateque can search your Bookshelf for your personal files (including your Google Drive if you connect it) and websites you have added, as well as the open web. In addition, every subscription includes access to Semantic Scholar, which gives you access to more than 233 million scientific papers. You can control which sources Sokrateque draws from for each query.

Can I connect my existing documents to Sokrateque?

Yes. You can connect your Google Drive to bring your existing files into Sokrateque without changing the way you already work. You can also upload files directly or addthem to your Bookshelf for use across all future sessions.

What file formats does Sokrateque accept?

Bookshelf accepts PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, and TXT files. The file size limit is1GB per file.

Can my team use Sokrateque together?

Team access is not yet available but will be released in the coming months. It will allow colleagues to share Bookshelf folders, access shared source collections, and work from a common knowledge base within a private firm environment. If team access is important to your decision, contact us and we will let you know when it launches.

What citation styles does Sokrateque support?

Sokrateque generates references automatically in APA, Chicago, Harvard, and MLA. Select your preferred style once and Sokrateque applies it across your output.

What happens to my work if I stop using Sokrateque?

Your work remains yours. Reports you have generated can be exported at any time. If your subscription ends, you can still access your documents for 30 days before youraccount closes. Nothing you have created is locked to the platform.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Your first 14 days are free, with 3 GB of cloud storage included. No payment is required to start.

Will I be charged when my trial ends?

No. When your trial ends, you will be asked to choose a paid plan to continue. If you do not choose a plan, you will not be charged. Your documents remain accessible for 30days after your trial expires.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your plan at any time. We do not offer refunds on payments already made, but you can cancel the day before your renewal date to make full use of your current billing period.

Do you offer discounts for students or academic researchers?

Yes. Sokrateque is well suited for PhD and thesis research. Student pricing is available to eligible institutions. Visit our pricing page and select the student plan — you will be directed to our partner Sheer ID to verify your student status.
